You Pick the List - Aeldari Edition
The Dallas Open is arriving at the end of April, and, although reliably far away in time, Chad wants to get painting and testing. Below you’re going to see two variable lists and a brief description of what the list is looking to do, what secondaries it will generally take, and some of the tricks Chad has built into them.

After reading through a link will be provided at the bottom for you to cast your vote and even give feedback on what you would change about either list. In a week's time the poll will close and Chad, (taking into account any changes frequently brought up), will then have a solidified and posted up list for him to start testing and mastering.

Secondaries: To the Last, Stranglehold/Engage on all Fronts, Retrieve Nachmund Data, Psychic Interrogation

Design Philosophy: This list is designed with the mirror in mind and as an attack on the current metagame. Taking the consistency from the top performing armies seems to be what the ol’ Harlies do best and the Light Saedath dials that up to 11. Chad is still a huge fan of Haywire Bikes, not only because they are great scalpels for the random vehicles in the meta, but being so costly as a To the Last, (and Core), you have a lot of tricks to preserve them through Fog of Dreams or putting them into reserves and back down later. Chad prefers them now as a gun platform if not taken in Dark or Twilight because you don’t really want them tagged in combat. With the sheer amount of Shuriken and valuable shooting coupled with a Stratagem to run away 6” when charged, this list can be tricky to pick up and trades onto objectives extremely well.

Tricks in this list that aren’t in the other: The firepower definitely looks more valuable in this list compared to the one you are about to see. Next we have an absolute weapon of a Troupe Master, whos sporting a Cegorach’s Rose as a higher damage Kiss replacement, the ability to always wound on a 2+ against anything not a vehicle or monster, a D3+3 advance, +6 to his charge roll, a 6” Heroic Intervention & +1S/+1ATK when he charges or intervenes. Lastly this list sports a second Death Jester with Lord of Crystal Bones to shut off Overwatch and give a unit -2 Inches to their movement.

Secondaries: Stranglehold/Engage on All Fronts, To the Last, Retrieve Nachmund Data, Psychic Interrogation/Warp Ritual

Design Philosophy: Redundancy, Consistency, and Assigned Roles. Everything in this list serves some sort of design based perfect role. The Windriders are cheap gun platforms that can Retrieve Nachmund Data and still shoot thanks to Will of Asuryan. The Farseer is kitted out to help gain me CP, gets to know an extra power which allows me to pivot into mortal output, cast undeniable psychic powers thanks to Strands of Fate/Ulthwe/Ghosthelm combo. Speaking of Strands of Fate, Ulthwe has an army wide 6+ Invulnerable save which can be extremely valuable with Strands of Fate Save dice. We also have an Autarch with a 20” move and Objective Secured, handing out rerolls and being a menace.

Tricks in this list that aren’t in the other: Secondary security is a big one. With 3 fairly mobile psykers it’s exceptionally reliable to complete something like Psychic Interrogation. Also the list has indirect fire in the form of Night Spinners, (which double as a To the Last option thanks to some points play). The Rangers can forward deploy and score me early Strangleholds/ Retrieve Nachmund Data without having to overextend with much else. Stratagems like Bladestorm can be extremely abusive on the amount of Shuriken shots put out on the Windriders. This list has CP regeneration which the pure Harlequins list does not. Nothing here is kitted out to be exceptionally killy, but the list does have a great weight of dice.
