What smote the city, and what horrors still lurk within? An efreet broods in a tower of fire and brass, harvesting volatile magical fuel for sale on the extradimensional market. But his ogre slaves have revolted, and begun to worship a god of vengeance, and the cartel holding his debt won't set up a payment plan. What's a demon to do?
Hot Springs Island is an old school fantasy hex crawl with Tarantino attitude. It is a system neutral product, featuring 270 intriguing locations, seven morally complex factions, 87 dastardly and helpful NPCs, 448 deadly random encounters, and 300 distinctive and problematic magic items. There are no prepared paths of adventure through this sandbox, and all lots emerge as players pluck the webs of faction intrigue and constantly clean up the consequences of their choices.
